day 3: pond
this pond is stocked full of fish. there are turtles, frogs, and probably snakes in there, too. it's home to many ducks, geese, and heron during the warmer months. in the summer we took many walks to feed the fish. it sometimes has algae blooms and is covered in green guck, but we still love it. if it's cold enough in the winter it freezes over and the neighborhood kids play ice hockey on it.
