day 8: horses & barn
watching the horses everyday has been one of the best things about living on the farm. we made good friends with a few special horses. we've loved walking to the bus stop with carrots for them. we have all loved watching the excitement whenever there was a runaway horse, or when the horses got let out after a snow storm, they sure do like to play in the snow.

A Mantle and Farm Life

I am much better at taking photos than I am at writing, so there will likely be more photos than words. Here is Ellie and Avery's mantle, presently.

The girls are loving living on the farm so far. We hear horses neigh from inside our house, and have two barn kitties visit us daily. We've seen a snake, some spiders, and lots of geese. We take walks and visit with the horses every day.

The black horse on the right is Apollo.
